Franz Magnayon is a filmmaker and photographer who is driven by a deep passion for all things entertainment and a commitment to storytelling. He is seeking to collaborate with creative professionals who strive to develop cinematic experiences that are both innovative and authentic. With a robust educational background with a BA in Film & Screen Studies and a BBA in Arts & Entertainment Management from Pace University in New York City, Franz has built a diverse portfolio encompassing student films, narrative and documentary projects. He also has experience in multiple types of photography varying from travel, event, concert, and street photography.
Influenced by the vibrant world of independent cinema and the impactful narratives of Anthony Bourdain, he is dedicated to exploring new storytelling techniques and pushing creative boundaries. Franz has had a unique and diverse journey, one that started in Manila, Philippines, immigrating to Southern California at an early age, and then serving four years in the US Air Force in Georgia as a young adult. He now resides in New York City. Having had the opportunity to travel to over 6 continents and 30+ countries, along with living in Paris and Southwest Germany, he brings a global perspective to his work.
